| Leslie
Jenness, MA Organization Training & Development is the
founder and President of the National Association of Gender
Diversity Training (NAGDT), publishers of the Gender Journal:
Men and Women Working Together. Leslie developed the current
format of the educational and training division of the association
the Scottsdale National Gender Institute. More than 400 businesses
have sent attendees to the yearly conferences and certificate
training programs over the past 13 years.
Leslie's varied professional
experience prepared her for her current work. Background includes:
eight years district sales manager for a large corporation;
one of five women out of 250 sales managers; nine years as
a college professor of psychology and human development; six
years as a women owned business in alternative energy products;
and four years as professor at Ottawa University where she
developed courses on "Managing Diversity in the Workplace"
and "Women in Management".
On-going development
of her work involves authoring two books and co-authoring
one book: author of "Women in Management; Book of Tips"
and "What is Gender Justice?" Co-author of "A
Time to Bridge: Developing Effective Diversity Programs in
the Workplace". She also serves on the diversity committee
of the San Diego Urban League.
